I was just wondering how we are going to play online through the Sierra severs, because I thought that they were all shut down.

the Sierra server isn't completely closed, just not used by many people.

well, I know you can connect through typing in the server's IP, is that what we are going to do, because if you do that, you don't use a sierra account, so would we have to change our player names?, just wondering.

i've never used an ip address private server. we are just going to create usernames and open a public server that will become private with a password.

oh, ok, but when i try and click Race Sierra, it fails to connect, and on the Open Speedway site, it says that on November 3rd the sierra servers were shut down, and i race with them on public servers via IP

maybe that is true. the computer i use it on has no internet connection right now, so when i get on, i'll take a look at it.
